I decided to start the new year off highlighting some of my favorite people, my husband, and kids.
Blue Heating and Cooling was founded by Dustin and myself (Shannon) in 2010 based on the principles of hard work, honesty, and customer satisfaction. Dustin is truly the heart and soul of Blue Heating and Cooling, with over 15+ years of industry expertise. His dedication helped to grow Blue Heating and Cooling to 5 full-time employees (including me) within 3 years. Dustin manages our employees and coordinates all jobs, completes sales and continues to work in the field with service and installation. While Blue Heating and Cooling keeps Dustin (me too) busy, the most important job to him is being dedicated to our family. He coaches flag football, baseball, and basketball for our two sons, Noah, 11 and Hudson, 9 and they love every work and play minute they get to spend with Dustin.
I have a background in marketing, HR, and accounting. I went to work full time for Blue Heating and Cooling in 2013, after 3 years of working a separate full-time job coupled with part-time at Blue Heating and Cooling. I primarily handle all customer communications, HR, marketing, and all other office management duties…pretty much everything outside of sales and installation. In addition to Blue Heating and Cooling, I enjoy volunteering at school, reading, and spending time with our dog, Taxi. However, I am sure you imagined, my favorite hobbies are time with Dustin, Noah and Hudson and the endless amount of time spent in the car in pursuit of the current season’s sport or school activity.
We love to travel and attempt to take the kids new places every year. We spend our summers in our camper and boat, and soak up as much summer sun as possible fishing, tubing, and waterskiing at the lake and roasting s’mores at night.
We are delighted to call Parkville, MO our home and thoroughly enjoy all the community has to offer. Oh- I almost forgot the last family member, a feisty cat named Stella.
