How Our Duct Cleaning Services Are Different

We Offer the Best Air Duct Cleaning Near You and the Best Quality Service

Take one step outside and the summer air quality with smog and pollen immediately kicks your sinuses into overdrive. You want a place where your allergies don’t make your nose run like a leaky faucet – and that place should be your own home.

Unfortunately, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, the opposite might be true. Americans spend 90% of their time indoors. Here’s the problem: some pollutants (including pet dander, mold, pesticides, ozone from cleaners, carbon monoxide, and smoke) can be concentrated indoors 2 to 5 times higher than they are outdoors. Yikes!

Fear not. One quick way to improve the air quality of your home is with duct cleaning services. This will improve air quality while getting rid of odors, and give you peace of mind.

There are other duct cleaners in Kansas City, but our duct cleaning services are different. Here’s why.

Reason #1: Our Duct Cleaning Services Use Machines With Real Power

Using a combination of suction and a spinning tool to clean off any stuck-on materials, our high-powered duct-cleaning machines can get dirt and debris out of all runs, returns, and the main trunk line.

We use the Hypervac system, which is a powerful, truck-mounted vacuum. On other trucks, you have to turn on the Power Take Off (PTO) to run the vacuum. They’re running a 300 horsepower engine to power a fan and compressor that only needs 40 horsepower. It’s loud and wastes fuel. We don’t use PTO to run our equipment, which reduces noise and exhaust fumes. But our duct-cleaning vacuum does more – it thoroughly cleans your ductwork and rids it of debris.

What Tools Do We Use for Duct Cleaning Services?

The first is a blow gun, which looks like something you’d use to blow up your car tires, except with a much longer hose. We send this through your duct work to blow out dust and loose debris. We also use it to blast dust out of your HVAC blower and coils and off your air vents. All dust goes inside the duct work, not into your home, and all that dust and debris is collected in a huge barrel inside our truck when we vacuum.

The forward and backward skip tools are sent a long way into the duct work to blast out dust and debris.

Our power brush tools, used with the skip tool, spins down the pipe to loosen stubborn debris clumps.

The rod and whip system has a group of tiny air hoses that connect to the end, and they whip around in all directions to loosen debris and send it back toward the vacuum. This is also called a Medusa head because the little air hoses lash around like the snakes on mythic Medusa’s head.

Reason #2: Our Duct Cleaning Services Go Above and Beyond To Give You Better Indoor Air Quality

If you have COPD or other breathing difficulties, and even if you don’t, we’re happy to find additional ways to make the air in your home even cleaner. One way is by installing a HEPA filtration system, which is so effective at trapping minute particles out of the air that hospitals use them. A UV germicidal light kills up to 99% of viruses, bacteria, and mold.

We’ll clean your ducts, but we’ll also help you find a combination of air quality products so your air is pure and you can breathe easily in your own home. But it all starts with duct cleaning!

Reason #3: It’s the Details That Matter

It’s very satisfying to see the dust coming out of a vent where it’s been caked on for centuries, leaving nothing but clean.

But we can take care of more than just your ductwork. Our services can also include cleaning out your dryer exhaust as an add-on. Other add ons include cleaning your compressor, coils, and blower and changing your air filters.

Our detail-oriented technicians ensure we’ve cleaned your entire system to improve your home’s indoor air quality.
